Tamborine Mountain Gallery Walk Precinct (the Precinct) is a shopping and hospitality precinct that services Tamborine Mountain locals and visitors with more than 70 specialty shops. Located on Long Road, Eagle Heights, it is an important regional visitor destination on Tamborine Mountain,

Over the past 20 years there have been a number of projects that identified issues and opportunities to improve the Precinct. Without external funding these projects haven’t been able to progress. Council received funding in 2020 from the Queensland Government’s Building Our Regions program to deliver a concept design and a business case, which will directly support future funding applications to all tiers of government.

There have been several opportunities for community members, businesses and visitors to share their values and ideas for improving the Gallery Walk Precinct. You can read about all community engagement activities in the outcome reports, available in the key documents section.

The Tamborine Mountain Gallery Walk Pedestrian Boulevard Business Case is proudly funded by the Queensland Government's Building our Regions program in association with Scenic Rim Regional Council.

  • CLOSED: This survey has concluded on 26 October 2022 at 09:00am AEST.

You’re now invited to share your thoughts on the next stage, the concept designs.

The concept designs identify options for a broad scope of works based on community feedback and technical studies. The two concept designs provide different parking configurations, pedestrian facilities and amenity. The road alignment and property boundaries are the same in both designs and can’t be changed. The designs also show the general look and feel of what the Gallery Walk Precinct could offer.

You can also review the designs at displays on Long Road, and at an Open House – this is an opportunity to drop in, view the designs and chat with the team –

Fortitude Brewing Co, 165 Long Road, Tamborine Mountain

    Wednesday 12 October 2022 - 4:30pm - 7:30pm

Consultation on this stage is open Wednesday 5 October to 9am Wednesday 26 October 2021.
